so i had my second epics tonight at 7 because the photographer i was given wasnt the one i requested and i hadnt heard bout him before so they gave me another session to get comfortable with him... i called to confirm this morning at 1130 just to be safe.. so i got my hair n makeup done and all dressed up and the fh left work early n everything we show up at 7pm and they look at me like im crazy..and like oh crap... the photographer wasnt there and had to be sent to do a wedding out of state...they said they called me but they didnt bc i had no missed calls an none at home or for the fh...make a long story short i was soo upset because we arranged everything around today...and spent alot of moeny doing a makeup trial and getting my hair done...and i had no idea it was canceled..i feel like they should have called..n if they say they did kept trying until they go someone...idk what to do...i just feel like how do i know that wont happen again..and i dont think all the steps were taking on their part and my parents who are paying are not happy at all and arent comfortable with them now..idkkkkk what woudl u girls do?

I am SURE that there are plenty of places that still have your dates, we JUST booked Duet for our August wedding. They are AMAZING and I've heard such great reviews. Definitely give them a call....
We got such a bad feeling when we met with the woman from the place you've been talking about and almost walked out but we sat through her talk and were astounded by the attitude we caught when we asked about at the very least making sure that the photog had an assistant... she said 'No if you want the 2nd photographer you pay for the 2nd photographer...' and then she wouldn't even give us the quote for the 2nd photographer.

1. I would demand to be reimbursed for my hair & MU at least.
2. Get $$$ off my package (and not just $100 or so bucks)
If they even hesitated to the above I would ditch their butts and tell every wedding site I could think of.
But that's just me.

I'm so sorry. But if I were you, i would demand my deposit back and go with another photographer because it seems like you have been having nothing but issues with this one!! Hope everything works out with whatever you choose to do!

who's your photographer? there is one company i didn't use b/c I heard this kind of stuff happens alot. Different people showing up day of. Canceling shoots.

Ugh I'm sorry Angela. I would def call and talk to the owner. It is not okay that this did this- they should have left voice mails and called several times if they couldn't get in touch with you. 10 pic doesn't do sh!t to make up for the money you must have spent on hair/makeup and leaving work early.
Honestly, I would not feel comfortable about having them do the wedding. They broke part of their contract, so tell them you want your deposit back and go elsewhere. Start calling around to see who's available on your date.

I would have flipped! You could ask for more than just a few extra pictures in an album. But why? They screwed up twice the way I see it, once when they didn't give you the person you requested, and the second time for forgetting to call you. If you have no missed calls, and they don't have your number wrong (which by the way would be another screw up for them) they are just outright lying. All the discounts in the world wouldn't make me feel better if I was in your shoes. I would go find another photographer and ask them outright for your deposit back since they have failed you so much. Why be stressed about them on your wedding day, wondering if they will forget to show up or call you?

oh Angela I'm so sorry that happened to you!! I don't know what to tell you to do. I think you and Ben need to make that decision for yourselves but what I can tell you is that my sister's boyfriend's brother just got married and used them and they were not happy with the final product at all. But, I am so sorry. I can't believe they didn't call or if they did call they should have spoken to someone or left a message. I feel sometimes like these vendors think they matter and are not concerned about the client.

wow! that's beyond UNPROFESSIONAL! ask them for proof of the calls that supposely they did. If there couldn't get in touch with u, they should have send the protographer no matter what, 10 extra pics DEF doesn't make it ok! they can def make it better and settle for whatever they initially offered u, ask to speak with the owner.
