So... Saturday night My FMIL went to my reception hall for an event. She hadn't seen it yet, and I was really excited for her to get a chance to see it!!

Spoke to her today, and she had not ONE nice thing to say about the place...

She started naming all these other places that I should 'really consider.' One being a place she got married at....

I am really sorry you had to go thru that hun!!!! We have not brought FMIL to our place yet for this very same reason...not bec we are worried that it isn't the perfect place for us ...but she has had nothing but negative things to say about all things wedding related!!! even showing her pictures...shes like oh it looks like it could be nice...ahhh..I can totally relate to what your going thru...

Just do what you and FH want to do!!its your day and you need to be happy!!!!!

WOW - Chateau Briand is beautiful - I have not heard one person say anything bad about it!

My FMIL does not seem very interested in weddings at this stage in the process - it ***** but you just ignore it and listen to everyone else who only have happy and positive things to say.
