So we went to see the florist @ Milleridge, Chris. We had met with him once before as we were looking for florists and discussed basic stuff. So i called last week to make an appt and they asked what colors/type we wanted and i told them. We walked in and he had made up 2, just as an example. Bam. Done. We literally didn't have to change anything. It was funny because we walked in, looked at him, looked at the centerpieces, and said ok, thats it. He was very nice and helpful. I'm not sure of their overall prices, but i would recommend them.

Thats how it went for us when we went to Burtons. We liked the people, liked what they showed us and booked with them. It was that easy with the photographer too.

Are you getting married at Milleridge? I am also using Milleridge Florist for all my flowres. I am getting married at the Cottage. He was really great to work with.

Matt/Jen:
What type of flowers are you using? Did you upgrade? I'm going to call Chris soon about my mom's party @ the Carriage House and I'm not sure what type of flowers can be used instead of the 1/2 dozen roses if we want. We're definitely not going to upgrade!
Thanks!!

Re: Ahhhhh, centerpieces done!
we are getting married in the cottage. we aren't sure if we are getting the 2 or 3 star menu, but either way we are getting 12 roses with other stuff in it (leaves, green and yellow stuff, little berry kind of things that i can't think of the name of) . the roses are going to be terra cotta, orange, and reddish. to go along with the whole fall kind of color thing.
