So FH brother/best man just found out that the Lieutenant test is the day of our wedding!!!!! It starts at like 11-12 and is 5 hours long, our ceremony is at 3! SO.....either he misses the ceremony at the church and is not in ANY pics at the park after and just comes to the reception OR if the city allows him, he can take the make up test sunday morning but will have to be totally sober at the wedding at would need to leave early to get sleep and will be stressing over the test the entire day. AHHHHHHHHHH...................

that SUCKS!!! omg so bad. i'm sorry. i personally would rather have him miss the ceremony, so he can party carefree all night. either way, that stinks.

that just sucks. however, this is his brother and his best man, if i was the BM, i would personally ask to take the makeup exam - who else is going to stand up with him in the church. missing some pictures is one thing - but even then, its his brother - you should want him there in your pictures to look back on and remember what a great day it was with everyone there. he has already probably studied h is derriere off, so pushing it back one day won't hurt

I agree, he def can not miss the ceremony, plus FH expects him to be there with him at the house getting ready and hanging out before hand. His brother would then need to leave early and wont probaly fully be there since his mind will be about taking the test the next day. They need to figure this one out! I just feel terrible!

Well, that was supposed to be the lieutenant test date and it would have worked out fine but then they added the sergents test then and pushed back the lieutenant test.
If they kept it, it would have worked out for both of them!
