ok..so as if i werent BUGGING OUT enough as it is.....

we went to Giorgios to pick our menu and asked for a round about balance....well needless to say we are like $7000 SHORT

i cried all the way home.....and FI went to his parents to ask for our wedding gift early (which both our parents have offered a million times alread) and then tonight he wants to go to my parents and ask them too.

so i cried the whole way home and he drops me off to go to his parents ( i was too embarassed to go) and of course...in the rain no less....OUR LOCK IS BROKE and my key wont work....so i sat there for almost 30 minutes trying....so i had my car keys...went to a payphone.....HAD ONLY ONE QUARTER!!!,,,went to 7-11 had to take $$ out of the ATM...(spent more on the stupid atm fee than i did for the stupid quarter) then got in touch with Fi who was 20 minutes away.....then he came and rescued me....luckily i atleast got a coffee....but his stupid key wouldnt work either for a good 5 minutes!

ughhhhh i was such a wreck that i ate PIZZA!!!! ( my Weight Watchers leader would be so upset with me)

this wedding is killing me..... i seriously wanted to forget all of it until i realized its in umm like 3 weeks and i would have to pay this crap regardless now

Please dont take this the wrong way,,but how did you and FH not realize that the hall would be 7k more than what you expected?
Were more guests added to the original guest list?

we've been saving so well too

i also didnt realize that teh TAX would add up to almost $7000
tax and something else they added

$450?!?!?! is that written in the contract?!?! if not, it is up to YOU to decide how much to tip!

You were probably just given the price per person w/out the tax and gratuity...

they should of given you the EXACT price per person with tax/gratuity included

Do you have your contract? it should have that info on it

at my hall they recommend that you give 4.00 per person to the matre d..and it is up to us what we want to give the bridal attendants...

i would use that to your advantage.

there is usually a 15-20% service charge in the contract, is that the $450 they are referring to?

or is that a suggested tip? most ppl pay $2-5 pp for the BM, but again that is at YOUR discretion.

Don't worry, everything will work out fine. If you don't understand how they are getting those numbers, call them and ask them to explain in detail.

Also, I have heard many many past brides say that they were so worried about money and everything worked out in the end. So, I'm positive that it will work out for you.
