My FH and I are going to try to get married either April 3 or April 4 (VERY small wedding, only about 25 people) in Montauk. Think we can do it? Any suggestions for the location???
Yes, very possible...There is a place that has three day weekend weddings. They are a vendor on here. Crows Nest maybe?

i definitely think that it can be done. i fell like i could have planned mine pretty quickly if i needed to. as long as you know what you want it shouldn't be a problem.

I'm not too keen on the Crows Nest idea...looking for something alittle different. I'm thinking of calling our fav. restaurant out there (Harvest On Fort Pond) to see if they would do it. We also want to get a few rooms so everyone can stay over....
As for invitations, I was thinking of just getting things from Michaels and making them...has anyone done this?

Its VERY possible and worth the drive over there one day just to cruse around and look at places. What a nice day that would be!

MONTAUK MANOR!!! it is amazingly beautiful. my fi and i stayed there in september and we got a condo like room, with kitchen and living room and an upstairs for about $120/night and went grocery shopping and out to eat. your guests would love it there b/c the views are amazing. for the dinner, try gurneys. there are also great restaurants in amagansett and e/hamptom, too. and being april, it is off season, so you should get good prices. my mom lives in montauk, so i'll ask her if she knows of any place. and yes, it is soooo possible to do a small weddiing in 2 months. we did it for my fbil and it was fantastic. you just need to focus on the not so little things, like favors and color schemes and std cards and stuff like that. and if you don't need a video guy, have a friend tape it on their camcorder, and instead of a wedding photographer, maybe hire a portrait photographer. it can be done. we'll help with any ideas we can!

I was just looking into Montauk Manor. I have a couple of questions. I heard the restaurant there is really good, have you eaten there? And the suites...are they big? There's a Super Deluxe suite, and I was thinking maybe if it's big, we could actually get married in the suite, with lots of candles, and then have the dinner at the restaurant there (IF it really is good). I also want to get about 10 guest rooms for our guests so they don't have to make the long trip back.
I'd appreciate any info!! Thanks

OK...just called MOntauk Manor and they're out. The restaurant is going through some cahnges and may not even be there much longer it seems

i am so sorry. the yacht club is nice too! i was there a really long time ago with my best friends family and we stayed in a cottage that was beautiful!!! that is a great idea. good luck. i forgot about them!

It can totally be done!!! I just planned mine for 150 people in 5 months!!! What about the inn at Quogue, a little further inland, but beautiful. They're a vendor on here.
