AIM - help NEVERMIND!!

I DL the newer version of AIM its 6.1. but its annoying because under each buddy on my buddy list, it shows their away message. I hate it.. it takes up so much room on the list that i have to scroll and obviously there are gaps between buddies..

anyone know how to take that off.. i tried settings - buddy list buti dont see an option for that.

TIA!
