Airbrush Make-up?

Can someone please fill me in on the whole airbrush make-up thing?

How does it work? Is it better than regular make-up application?

I am also lost on this new phenomenon...

They spray the make up on with an air brush, think of like painting. It's supposed to cover more and stay on longer I think.

I had airbrush and loved it. I did two trials with my make-up person (also my DOC-- Michelle from Defining Moments) and SO preferred the airbursh. You barely feel the make-up on your face, and it can be used elsewhere.

It's foundation applied much like they do airbrush decorations at the nail salon. Michelle did the foundation on my face, neck and on my upper arm, where a lovely pimple formed. It also covered up a MONSTER pimple on my face, making it virtually disappear and not look cakey at all!

I am ALL for airbrushing, even if it is a little more. Also, after it dries, it doesn't rub off like traditional cream foundations.

Air brush make-up is pretty simple, and looks great, but can be really expensive, depending on where you are and what is available. (I also heard some rumors about allergies, but haven't found cold hard proof) If you can't get the airbrushing, I would reccommend bare escentuals 'Bare Minerals' make-up. Never in my life have I found better foundation, that comes out looking just like airbrushed makeup, feels light, and works on EVERY skin type. My skin is extremely oily, prone to breakouts, has problems with most foundations, and this is like a godsend to me.

I love bare escentuals! So light and makes you look flawless--mineral veil is great to have in handy.
