Airbrush Make Up

Airbrush Make Up

Did anyone else feel like the airbrush makeup looked really cakey and flat? I had another makeup trial yesterday and got airbrushed and i didn't like it at all. Anyone else feel this way? I know people rave about airbrush makeup. Maybe its just my skin type?!?! I think I am going to go with regular foundation on the day of the wedding.

I actually felt the exact opposite about it, it felt really lite and natural... Maybe it was the type that the makeup artist used or maybe she applied too much...

yeah i felt the opposite too. For me with regular make up looks alot more cakey on me. Ive had professional make up done quite a few times and with regular also feel like its too much. I also have dry skin so probably a big reason why.

If they used an airbrush foundation on you with any oils in it then that can be why, theyre not supposed to for weddings, its supposed to be water based, so if they didnt do water based then yes it will be heavy and cakey. I did water based for wedding.

i'm on the fence about it. i had the same girl do my makeup for my sisters wedding and then i worked with her as a guinea pig ( ) last week and she did airbrush that time and i really wasn't 100% thrilled. i am going to do a trial with her in the next few weeks so we'll see. my sister did a trial where the lady did airbrush on one side and regular on the other to see what she preferred

I really think it depends on your skin type... I only got it done once...for my MU trial...and I absolutly loved it! I didn't even feel it.

Soooo weird. I think I have pretty normal type skin. Maybe it was just the way she put it on.

Thanks for your feedback
