Do you ladies think one is better than the other? And, which do you prefer and why? Does airbrush make-up last longer? One more question- for those of you that have had it done, how much was it? I'm having my e-party on 12/20 and am hoping to get something done so I can look half-way decent. haha

Re: Airbrush make-up or no air-brush?
I had airbrush done for my b-pics. I think it looked really great in the photographs, but I thought it looked really dry and cakey in person on me. I wanted to look dewy and glowy on my wedding day. I had traditional foundation for my wedding day. My wedding day was not just a photo shoot, I was going to be around 150 people all night and I wanted to look great in person too! I think my makeup artist uses Laura Mercier foundation.

I had a 2 day event...did both airbrush and traditional. In the end, I love the traditional application --- it had a softer feel to it

Airbrush! I had it done for my wedding and it lasted the entire night. It looked amazing. I was almost sad to wash it off b/c it was still perfect at 2 am.

Re: Airbrush make-up or no air-brush?
I had airbrush done for epics and traditional for bpics and showers. Love traditional makeup much better than airbrush ! I feel like it was too cakey and it felt heavy on my face ! On the wedding day, went with traditional makeup and it lasted all night....Try both and see which one you like better.

I tried both in trials and I found the traditional was better for me. My makeup person said that airbrush is great for tv and photoshoots but when a person is going to be rally close to your face its not the best...it also felt like a mask and too much for me. Its really up to you but try both and decide which you like best.

I had airbrush on my trial and it was ok; I think I'm going to try traditional next and see how it is!

Re: Airbrush make-up or no air-brush?
For me- hands down airbrush!!!
I had a traditional trial and traditional for my shower. I tried airbrush for my bachelorette and was sold. My skin was dewy and fresh until 4 am....and it was 90 degrees and humid!
I did it again for my wedding and it was immaculate until 3 am when I washed it off. Make sure to work with someone who knows how to apply it, the airbrushing used for magazine shoots is NOT what they would do for a wedding, it's water based and natural looking for our purposes.

I did airbrush makeup and was sooo happy I did. Normally whenever I wear regular makeup I feel like I get super shiny after like an hour or two – the airbrush lasted all day and all night for me with only a few minor touch ups!

Airbrush all the way!
I had Airbrush done for both days of my wedding and it lasted from 7am until around 3am when I washed it off. It still looked so fresh it was sad washing it all away.
I would say try both and see which you like better because everyone has different skin.

Re: Airbrush make-up or no air-brush?
It depends on your skin type. Not everyone can wear airbrush. It will come off drier and cakey on some people. I prefer traditional because of my drier skin. But also, I have six BMs and they don't have the same skin types. At least with traditional make-up, you can manipulate it, contour to each person's features and highlight certain areas. It really is a personal preference. I would suggest going for a trial for both, take pictures and then decide. If you're having make-up for your BMs, I would maybe suggest find someone who does both for the wedding day so you have the option.
