Airbrush Makeup?

Has anyone ever had airbrush makeup? How did it come out? Who did you use? Is it better than regular makeup applications? Is it more expensive?

Re: Airbrush Makeup?

I had two makeup artists tell me that the only real advantage is time. For example, if you have a large bridal party, it takes a lot less time to make the girls up if you use airbrush. As I only have a MOH I didn't see justifying the extra expense. For a morning wedding with a bridal party of 7 it might be worth it.... you wouldn't have to start getting ready the night before

Re: Airbrush Makeup?

I did a trial with Marie Katz with the airbrushing
I was told it is much lighter, stays on better and doesn't rub off
on clothing

Re: Airbrush Makeup?

I had the trial done with Jaqualine Nicole, and it defenitly was much lighter and it also did not rub off. I also have a problem where my eye makeup never stays on, my skin absorbs it. Well with the airbrush this did not happen.

Re: Airbrush Makeup?

I had a trial with Maureen Pedala, who does airbrushing. It looked really good. I'm lucky to have good skin to begin with but the airbrush gave me a really nice glow (not like a tan, just a 'radiance' of sorts ) . Her trials are free, which is great. Here's her website: www.nyweddingmakeup.com
