What are pros and cons of airbrushed makeup? Any recommendations?

Re: Airbrush Makeup
I've had both airbrush and traditional make up trials. The only downside to airbrush is finding someone who truly knows how to apply it and not have it look plastic.
Otherwise...it's DEFINITELY the way to go. I wore airbrush to my bachelorette party- lasted all night and looked flawless! I will definitely be getting airbrushed for the big day.
Try both! Good luck.

Re: Airbrush Makeup
I heard airbrush is great because it makes your skin look flawless and won't come off....even if you sweat. I spoke to my MUA yesterday and the only downfall is if you have dry skin it can tend to look funny. Speak to your MUA about it. She should be able to point you in the right direction depending on the type of skin you have. Good luck!

Re: Airbrush Makeup
I used Stacy from About Face Artistry.
She came for a trial last week & she was great! Very easy to talk to, professional & super nice! Everything was very clean & organized.
She was very patient & actually applied 3 different types of foundation (airbrush, traditional, etc.) to see which I would like better. I loved what she did.
I booked her for my wedding & engagement pictures. Give her a try!

Re: Airbrush Makeup
I used airbrush and highly recomend it! I didnt touch up once all night, I danced all night and we had some sun so I was sweating a lot that day/night. And it was so lightweight it didnt feel like I had anything on and it made me look flawless =)

Re: Airbrush Makeup
I def recommend airbrush, esp if your face gets shiny.
My face normally gets sooo shiny and I have to touch up my makeup every few hours, but I did airbrush for the wedding and it was amazing! Even at 2am it was still good.
I had my hair and makeup done by Elena from Bridal Touch. <3 her.

Re: Airbrush Makeup
I was airbrushed for a photo shoot once and loved it. But in person thought it was heavy.
When i did my trial I told my MUA this. She said I'll try a lighter mist and that if I wanted good pictures, I should do it. It looked flawless and not so dry. If you have older and dry skin, ask the MUA to mix a moisturizer with it.
A tip is this though. My friend got airbrushed on her wedding day and when we were outside, I noyiced the MUA didn't blend towards here ears so if you have an updo, make sure she rubs some of the color in by your ears.

Re: Airbrush Makeup
I had trails with both. I didn't like the traditional makeup bc it felt heavy, rubbed off and didn't last as long as the Airbrush. The airbrush was great, light, it looked natual, and it lasted a lot longer.
I reccomend Mya from cosmetic artistry. I have pix in my album.
