what exactly is airbrushing? sorry if it's a dumb question but i've heard of it but want to know more.

Airbrushing is where the artist puts the makeup (usually foundation, but some do eyeshadow and blush as well) into a little spray gun that kind of mists your face with the makeup. It leaves a really even application and a subtle glow. The makeup artist I booked does this and you can see pics of airbrushed makeup on her website: Maureen Pedala

It's sort of just like the nail places do airbrushing!

She's amazing. - Some of the vendors I went to for trials went WAY overboard w/ the airbrush - which makes me think they don't know how to use it properly.
Marueen will even out your skin and conutre everything to make your face look amazing !!

I didn't like it at all. i thought it looked heavy and it streaked when i cried (from how bad it looked)
It could just be my experience because I hear lots of brides rave about it.
Just want to warn brides that it is not good for everyone. You need to have PERFECT skin. You can't use concealer with it.

I used Bare Minerals makeup. I resisted it for years but it is amazing. I need decent coverage and it is a loose powder foundation that has great (not heavy) coverage and looks so natural. plus it is better for yor skin. And it also stays forever. I left it on when I went to sleep on my wedding night and it was still perfect the next day

Lynda Lane from Chameleon Makeup does it. I had airbrushing at my trial and loved it. I ended up not doing it on wedding day because i was very tan and didn't want to 'cover' that up - but if my wedding was at any other time of year I would have done it. It looked flawless!
