Its all personal preference...I would recommend trying both and seeing which you like best.
I did both and found the airbrush too much makeup on my skin and the regular was perfect and it lasted all night.

I hated airbrush. It looked terrible and felt awful.

since I know what reg make up feels like I only went for a airbrush trial...and loved it...booked her on the spot!
