Airbrush vs. Regular Makeup

For those of you who used regular makeup as opposed to airbrushing - did you regret it?
Do you have an opinion on which is better?

I had trials with both and did regular for my day because I didn't like the way airbrushing made my face look in person....no regrets at all, loved my makeup. But the airb. does look nicer in photos, it makes your skin look smoother. Airbrushing also lasts a longggg time, although with regular if it is applied correctly that lasts also. I would do trials with both and see what you like better Take a lot of pics before and after and try to do the trials when you have somewhere to go so you get a better idea of how long it lasts.

I had a trial with airbrush and I hated the way I looked in person .. Sure the photos looked awesome but Id rather look great in person than have it caked on but look flawless in pictures .. JMO :)

I actually found the complete opposite of this.

When I had trials with regular make up they caked it on, saying it would come off easily, so in order to last all day they had to apply more and it ended up being an oily mess.


ETA: I have sorta oily skin and with the summer sun....it just wouldn't have worked.

The airbrush was much lighter and had a much more natural finish and look.

ITA. I had airbrush for my bpics. It looked great in my photos, but in person I did NOT like how I looked. I wanted to glow on my wedding day, and that was not the look I got with the airbrush. I had traditional foundation.
