I'm torn on which way to go for the wedding. My skin is very clear, and many people comment that it looks liek porceline so im not sure if i NEED airbrushing... however, i heard that airbrushing lasts longer... what shoudl i do?

i've tried both and honestly i can't decide which one i like better. they both look the same but airbrushing feels a lot lighter than having traditional foundation put on. i say try both and see which one you like better.

If you have clear skin, I think your skin will look flawless and light with airbrush.

Re: airbrush vs traditional
I just had a regular m/u trial this weekend. I loved it. I really wanted airbrush because I don't wear alot of makeup and never wear foundation so I didn't want it to feel heavy or look heavy, but the person who did my trial doesn't do airbrush. So I did the traditional m/u and I was surprised how much I loved it. She completely evened out my skin tone and it was super light and FH said it didn't look heavy at all and he got right up in my face. It didn't feel heavy at all either. I was really happy with it.
I think w/the traditional m/u (like I had) it's going to come down to the quality of makeup used and the artist.

yeah, when i had my trial i tested it out...the next day i went to work without washing my face and still had the make up on...throughout the whole day at work the foundation stayed on, usually i touch up a little bit but stayed on great

I don't know about airbrush cause I didn't do an airbrush trial yet, but the m/u artist who did my regular trial told me she used all waterproof stuff. Well I cried about something when I got home later that day and I thought, great, there goes my m/u. Well, not even a smudge, the eyeliner, the mascara, the blush.....it was still all in place and then, and I swear I'm not lying, I went in the shower later that night (I can't go to sleep w/o washing my face) and I put my entire face under the streaming water and jumped out just to look before I actually scrubbed it off and I swear it was all still there, even the ind. fake lashes. I was amazed. So, my regular m/u lasted all day and through a shower before being scrubbed off.
Honestly, do a trial with both. Everyone's skin is so different and will take to diff. m/u in different ways. I plan to do an airbrush trial as well but so far I'm sold on the regular. Good Luck!

I thought I wanted regular until I saw a make-up artist do the airbrush on someone and it looked great! The bride she worked on kept saying it felt like she wasn't wearing anything. I think I'm going to get airbrushed, since my make-up always seems to fade off by noon!

I agree.
I get compliments on my skin all the time-- People tell me it looks so nice and flawless and I felt like the Airbrushed make up brought that out even MORE than traditional make up. I was so happy with the outcome AND with how it FELT b/c it didn't feel like I was wearing a lot.
Guests told me I looked like a China Doll on my wedding day because the make up made my skin look so smooth, even and flawless and it FELT great too which was awesome.
Maybe go for a trial and see what you think? -- what is great is that it lasts so long. It was JUST as nice at the end of the night as it was the second it was done! Amazing!
HTH!! Here are pics...
1.before my hair was done-- right after m/u 2. all done w/ hair
(Make up was done by Jacqueline Nicole - a vendor on here)
