what do you suggest? and what is the difference, other than the obvious.

Airbrush is supposed to last longer and give a more dewy look as compared to matte.

if you look in my community albums--you'll see that i have MU trials with both types.
for me, i loved airbrush better. i don't wear MU at all, very rarely...so when the airbrush was applied, i truly felt like i had nothing on at all. it stayed beautifully, and the application was simplly flawless!
