has anyone traveled w/in the last 2 weeks? is the airline security still not letting any liquids on the plane? are youstill better off checking everything?

Hubby and I just got back from St. Kitts this week. TSA is still not allowing liquids and/or gels onto the plane. I made sure I had nothing but 'dry' items in my purse. I put everything else (hair gel, MAC lip gloss, mouthwash, etc.) in my checked luggage. They checked me more coming back into the country than they did going out too.

You should check it all to be safe. You don't want your ultra-dangerous deoderant to be confiscated.

also, don't bring nail polish....MIL had hers taken...i swear she and my DH get more searches done than anyone i know...i think it's because they look so sweet and that sets off triggers for others...i think the airlines prefer people who are snotty and/or acting strange...those people never get searched.
