Aisle Runner

Has anyone used a fabric marker, to make their own aisle runner? I bought a couple last night, and when I just tried it on a piece of paper, it wasn't that dark, do you think it will be darker on fabric?

Do these really work good? I was just scared that a sharpie would run, if it is wet outside and the bottoms of my shoes are wet. So I asked the women and she said to use a fabric marker.

I used a fabric marker and it worked great, i didn't find the color I wanted in sharpie.

The ones I used seemed to be about the same color on paper as on the runner but if you have a runner with the lacy/flower pattern to it like I did there will have some variances in color where the pattern is but nothing too dramatic.
