Aisle runner or no aisle runner????

Aisle runner or no aisle runner????

I'm not sure if I should use an aisle runner or not.

I'm hoping (weather permitting of course) to be married on the back deck of our reception hall. If the weather is bad the ceremony will be inside the restaurant.

I'm not clear on how the runner is secured so I keep having visions of it getting caught under my dress and me dragging it down the aisle with me. Not really the look I'm going for!

Are you using an aisle runner? If so, how are you planning to secure it?

I skipped the whole runner thing because I was also getting married on a deck and I just thought the potential for disaster would be too high. I had my florist line the aisle with rose petals though and it looked really nice.

My church doesn't allow an aisle runner, so I don't know what I'll be doing.

im glad we had one....it was like the iceing on the cake at our ceremony...everybody including our TV show commented about it
