If I am customizing it myself. Do u think the paint will bleed on the rest of the runner if I do it now and store until wed in August?

You mean if you fold it onto itself or roll it up? So long as it's dry and kept dry, that shouldn't happen.
However, I've been told that it does usually bleed through WHILE you're doing it - so make sure you put plastic or something under the runner when you're painting on it. GL!

you can always use plastic bag/wrap around the area where you painted your runner and store it so that humidity wont make the colors seep into the other layers
