Hello ladies. Does anyone have any info on aisle runners... With all of this rain this year, I am worried about bad weather on my wedding day and so I don't know what type of aisle runner to get...
I want the runner to be prepped by my florist in advance, so that they can put petals on the side, but I opted to buy my own runner, because the florist charges extra for the runner.
But now, I don't know whether to get a fabric/ satin runner or a plastic one which I see described as 'polypropolyne with a linen texture' on some sites.
Don't know what to order! Anyone have a suggestion or experience with aisle runners. Don't want my bridal party to step on the white runner and place a nasty footprint on it before the end of the ceremony!
Help!!! Thanx! Am I being paranoid?!!

Re: Aisle Runner Question / Concern...
Any suggestions for an aisle runner in the winter? Should we use satin fabric or a plastic blend?

Many limo companies (including Camelot) will provide you with a standard white aisle runner.

Re: Aisle Runner Question / Concern...
Hi ladies! You're right. But my florist said that they need the runner from before hand so that they can place the petals along the sides as I found in a pic that I really like... Plus, my sister's runner from the limo guys seemed a little bit flimsy... because it looked like a paper fabric! So not sure... Maybe I should ask to see what they offer. HAven't booked my limo either so don't know.

I know that my wedding church only allows certain types of aisle runners--I assume to prevent people from slipping and falling on the marble floors. So be sure to check this before purchasing!!
I'd go with whatever moves around least under your fee.

some of the weddings i've attended that used the limo's aisle runner are like that. maybe it's because it's cheap?
