Whats the best material for them? Does anyone know? I want to make my own but not sure which is the best material to do so!

Re: Aisle runners
You want to make an aisle runner or make a customized one? You can buy a plain aisle runner from Michaels (or similar place) & then customized them yourself

did you try Oriental Trading? They might have a plain white fabric runner.

Re: Aisle runners
Definitely the dryer sheet material such as what they sell in AC moore or Michaels. In fact walmart sells the same one for like half the price. The dryer sheet material will absorb either the paint or perm. marker which i used and it worked so well. Edited with pics There are more pics in my album

Dryer sheet material? I have found a few different ones, wrap with us has hearts, one place had a poly linen combo. I dont mind if its see through as long as all the writing stands out. Yours looked great! About how did it take you, and how did you get the letters so big?

Re: Aisle runners
Hey sorry...i didnt see your question before. I got the letters so big by printing them in a font that was 350 or 400. Only one letter fit per page and then i taped them together. It took about 8 hrs total.
