Ok, so FH and I are getting married in August at one of the heights of hurricane season. Also, Europe is pretty much on vacation, then, too. This leaves us with very few viable choices for our 10 day honeymoon, which we would like to cap at a certain cost since once we get married and finish school, we are going to be looking a houses (FH is an accountant, need I say more?) Tahiti looks and sounds wonderful, but we have a friend who was going to book her HM there and it was $15,000...certainly higher than we are budgeting...what do you girls think out of the three places to go for an HM..we are looking for relaxation, some cool things to do, dining, and relaxation..it has been a tough couple of years with school, work, and FH's brother being sick and passing, so we are desperately looking to some fun and hanging out and doing things we like to. ive never been to tahiti i can only imagine how beauitful it is.
Ive been to hawaii a few times and i def. reccomend you go its so relaxing since your looking for relaxation!
And FH's parents went to alaska, they did a cruise, and it is def amazing however they said way too boring and theyre 60!! So you get the idea

Thanks, again, ladies..we met people last night who definitely voted for Hawaii, so I have to do some research in that direction...FH goes, 'Hawaii is not your enemy' HA! Happy New Year, girls, IT'S OUR YEAR!

tahiti!! its a honeymoon/trip of a lifetime!!
and you dont have to spend $15,000 either! you can get an awesome package for $8000. you jsut have to do a lot of research. go to the french polynesian honeymoon thread. there is a lot of info there!

Thanks...I think at this point, Alaska is more of a vacation than a honeymoon, I am getting that idea...narrowing down to two is good for us..thanks again!
