Albums - DIY??

Albums - DIY??

I am just about ready to book with a photographer that we met with and LOVED. Now, as a budget (or BROKE) lol bride - I am on a very tight budget. There is a $500 difference between a proof only package (all high res, edited pics on a disk and gallery) and an album package. The album package is still very reasonable, but $500 is a good chunk to spend elsewhere...

So my thought is, if anyone knows of a good website/company to make my albums myself then its a no brainer and I will save my $ and get the proof only package! I know of shutterfly, are there any other websites/places I can do my own album for cheap (and also nice quality)??

TIA!!!

you can use Blurb.com to make an album, they are very high quality. I would as the photographer how much it would be if you added it on after the wedding.

I'm using the photographer my family has used for all of our events so she was VERY honest with me. She had a price difference of $100/hour between getting an album/not and told us not to get the album. She said she uses snapfish.com and that they always have sales.

I have made my wedding album with Sweet Memory Albums earlier this year.
I created my own design with their Online Editor and received the album by post. It was a very high-quality flush-mount album - leather bound in real leather and printed on photo paper - and everybody who saw it loved it. I think prices start from 300$ including delivery so you will definitely save a few bucks.
