Maybe it's dependent on the seller. I didn't have any problems with my BM dresses by Alfred Angelo at helen's boutique in commack.

Re: Alfred Angelo Dresses
It must depend on the seller because one of my girls needed a plus size dress and she was charged only $30.00 more

Re: Alfred Angelo Dresses
We ordered separates from Alfred Angelo and they charged $30 per piece for plus size BM gowns. Two of my sisters had to spend $60 extra to get these dresses. It's a shame.

Re: Alfred Angelo Dresses
I would call Alfred Angelo and ask. Their customer service department was very nice to me when I called about my discontinued wedding gown.

Re: Alfred Angelo Dresses
The sellers say its Alfred Angelo but thats not true....well im sure it is...BUT the salons make a % off it as well... my girls paid 106$ for their dress and anyone who needs Women size it was 20$ more and plus size was 30$ more

Re: Alfred Angelo Dresses
AWWWW....that *****! these reps can be real nasty! If you talk w. the place where you got your dresses from you may be able to work w/ them....my sister had a bad exp as well when she got married and they didnt tell her about the extra $$ for plus size...so when dresses came in like 3 of the girls needed to pay an add. 50$ Well my sister basically went bridezilla on the manager and they said they had to charge it but they do alts for free....so talk to someone at the salon. It may help?!
