I just want to start out by telling everyone how much I have appreciated all of the help, opinions, sharing and laughing this board has supplied me with. My wedding planning experience would not have been the same without LIW and all of the wonderful brides on this board. What an amazing experience.

Now, on to the good stuff.....................
Marriott-
We all (my bridal party, family, DH and I) stayed at the Marriott in Uniondale. The rooms were very nice and the location was very convenient to Chateau Briand. We were able to get a group rate which was decent and over all, we were happy with the hotel. DH and I stayed in serparte rooms both of which were upgraded rooms given at a discounted price. I had a suite which was a bedroom separate from a living/dining area which was perfect for morning prep.
Hair and Make-up-
At 7:00am Margaret showed up to do my hair, a few minutes later, Jackie showed up (from I makeup you). Both were on time and ready to go. Jackie did a great job on my makeup and also did my mother, grandmother, DH's mother, and my 2 BM's and my MOH. Everyone was happy with her work and everyone looked beautiful (I can't wait to post pics). Margaret curled my hair within an inch of its life (that's a good thing

) and I loved it. It was exactly how I wanted it to be, all down and curly. She attached my headpiece and veil and they stayed on all day, no problems. I recommend them both.
Wild Rose Video-
Do I really need to tell you how great Bill is? Of course I don't have my video yet so I can't 'review' it, but this guy is just amazing. You can see the wheels turning in his head as he films. I am so happy that we were able to book them. Bill showed up at my hotel room at about 7 a.m. and started filming. He was also kind enough to play a little trick on DH and call his room and tell him that he was lost and didn't know where the hotel was. DH fell for it, but Bill didn't torture him for more than a few seconds before letting him know he was just kidding and he was calling from my room (I would have loved to see the look on DH's face

). Bill was always in the right place and the right time and I never had to worry if he was not around to catch some action. He is a real pro and more importantly, a genuinely nice guy. It was a real pleasure to have him around on my wedding day and I would recommend Wild Rose to anybody and everybody. I can't even explain how excited I am to see my video. I just know that it is going to be amazing. What more can I say. A++++++++++++
Imagine Studios-
I don't know if I can find the words to describe Lia's talent. Without even seeing the pics I know they are perfect. Lia can see the picture in her head before she even takes it. For the posed pictures, she knows just how to place you and just what to do to make the picture look amazing. The rest of the time, she is ready with that camera (make that 3 cameras) and she is just shooting away. Her assistant Paula was amazing and was constantly moving my hair out of my face, fixing my veil, arranging me and also taking many, many pics. They were both such a pleasure to work with. Lia was able to take charge of everyone in a very polite and organized way and get all of the family pics done quickly. We were running late when taking formals at the garden and she was able to get tons of shots quickly and timely. She is also an amazingly nice person and was a very calming presence. I recommend her 1000%. I cannot wait to see my proofs.
Flower Michele Florist-
All I can say is OH MY GOD!!!!!!! John is a master at what he does. My flowers were truly spectacular. My bouquet was truly the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. Words cannot do it justice on a picture could ever show how amazing it really was. My girls bouquets were equally as beautiful my flowergirls basket was adorable and the centerpieces were just breathtaking. I got sooooo many compliments on the flowers everybody was arguing about taking the centerpieces home. John also put flowers on our cake and turned a plain white cake into a work of art. The corsages and boutineers were also as beautiful. Flower Michele did a perfect job, there was nothing that I didn't like. Really, really amazing.
