All for a @$(!ing Elmo Balloon...
I took Emma to see Sesame St Live yesterday. Of course we had to get some souvenirs. I bought her an $8 Elmo balloon, yes, 8 US DOLLARS.
Exhibit A
Anywho, Emma was playing with the balloon, she went into the kitchen where I hear the back door open. I realize she had the $8 balloon and I know how a 2 year old doesn't realize that balloons fly away once you let go of it. I RUN into the kitchen to get the balloon from flying away on my way to the door I stub my right foot on the stove, I think I have 2 broken toes now... they are still aching and I scraped my right arm on the door jamb.

Being 5 1/2 months pregnant I am lucky these things didn't make me fall on my face but LUCKILY Elmo is safe and sound in my dining room tonight... but I sure paid a price to keep him around, although I'd love to take a knife to his eyeball![]()
