We're staying at the Occidental. It was a toss up b/w that and the Riu. Both are supposed to be amazing.

We're staying at the Riu. We were also tossed btwn the Occidental and the Riu, but we knew ppl who stayed at the Riu and loved it so we went with that one.

Re: All-Inclusive in ARUBA
I also had the toss up btw Riu and Occidental....I have two recently married friends who both went to Aruba. One went to Riu and the other went to Occidental. Both had wonderful comments. I decided to go to Occidental because my friend said Riu had hard beds. But honestly they both are wonderful resorts so it depends on your preference.

Re: All-Inclusive in ARUBA
Occidental, Riu, Marriott has an all inclusive plan.
I opted not to all inclusive because Aruba has such amazing restaurants. I got a really good deal (flight and 7 nights for 2000), so I felt paying for food there is worth it then the $1600 more for all inclusive.
