Since it is going to be hurricane season, FH and I are thinking of Aruba for our Honeymoon. Any recommendations for an all inclusive resort on Aruba? TIA

Re: All Inclusive in Aruba?
The Riu Palace or the Occidental are the ones that are popular.. I would prob go with the Rui over the occidental though..
if you dont want all inclusive definately the Hyatt is amazing!

Re: All Inclusive in Aruba?
I had a friend who stayed at the RIU for her honeymoon and loved it. I had another friend who stayed at the Occidental for her 1 year anniversary and she said they had a few issues with the room there and the food got boring after a bit, so based on those two experiences, I would probably pick the RIU. HTH!

Thanks ladies...trying to get FH out of the idea of a cruise, but he is hell bent on it. Trying to convince him it is hurricane seaon and Aruba is out of the hurricane path. Wish me luck! Going to check out these places you recommended!

Just stayed at the Occidental for 4 days and loved it. Our room was beautiful and the staff was very friendly.

I stayed at the Radisson (which is not all-inclusive) in Aruba. It was great - They are in the process of renovations though - I can't wait to go back!!!!!!

I've stayed at the Divi which is the sister resort to the Tamarijn and loved it! Please know though that eventhough it is all-inclusive, it wasn't couples only so there was a mix of couples and families there. Not sure if that's an issue or not.

we were dead set on a Sandals resort but FH really wanted to go to Aruba and it ended up being slightly less $$ to go to Aruba. Plus there are suposedly a ridiculous amount of good restaurants.
The Riu and Occidental do have suites close to Sandals but no couples only resort. we booked a jacuzzi suite!

Im a travel agent and I go to Aruba every year! I never stay in all-inclusives there because there are so many amazing restaurants on the Island!
However i would say RIU Palace or Occidental if you prefer all-inc

What if you don't do all inclusive, where would you recommend for your HM?

In Aruba? Definately the Hyatt - or Marriott (hotel, not surf club or ocean club too many kids)
Also, the Westin, Radisson... but my number one there is Hyatt

The Holiday Inn Aruba is actually very nice... but... there tends to be alot of families - many kiddies in the pool!
