All Inclusive vs Not?
Question for brides that have booked venues:If you were looking at all inclusive venues vs non all inclusives, have you found that the extra services included in the packages were good, making the package deals better choices? Or did you find you were better off choosing your own vendors?
I realize this is all personal preference and will vary on financial situations as well....I'm just curious :)

I personally wouldn't use an all inclusive because I am FARRRRR too picky and I knew who I wanted for certain vendors for a while.However.. my cousin did the package at the cottage at east wind... and she had a wonderful experience! I would have never known it was an all inclusive had I not been told.

I agree with katielynn. I'm so picky I just wouldn't be happy only having 1-2 options. However there are many brides on here that have found all inclusive packages to be amazing and a wonderful experience for them. It's all about preference. I suggest looking at the vendors work and reviews prior to booking all inclusive!

I think it depends on the packages, you really have to carefully compare each aspect to make sure you are getting a good deal. I opted to select each vendor because I wanted a certain vintage feel and that is very important to us.

I think it works out to be way cheaper. I'm booked with one and I'm liking at $18k for 175 people for everything! well not the church and I need some extras like 10 more centerpieces bouquets and that stuff and a limo but that's it! everything else I'm going for extra is stuff for my theme!I looked into all my vendors before I booked to make sure I liked them! I was lucky enough that my moh went to a wedding thier and loves itabd I got to aask the bride ask types of questions! lucky for me she us my colorist so I have more for her lol

I probably could have been happy with an all inclusive package, this was not an option for me at my venue. The only thing I feel I would be upset about is the lack of control lol its scary putting that much money down for something you aren't completely convinced will be worth every penny. In 09 my sister did do the all inclusive package. She liked the ease of it for sure-- you dont have to visit vendor after vendor, comparing prices blah blah. But, she did say if she was choosing each vendor she would not have chosen the same DJ or Photographer (or limo, but she actually did pay an additional fee to choose her own limo company). Its hard to have your wedding done for you, even when it turns out fabulous. But there is the obvious up side to it, low cost, low stress, and trusted vendors by your venue.

We went with an all inclusive since FH and I are paying for the wedding on our own, and it fits our budget. We have met with all of the vendors, and thankfully they are all great!Like the other girls said, it depends on preference. All inclusive packages aren't for everyone. Good luck! :)

We went with all inclusive for two reasons, the first obviously being the budget. We're paying less for hall, dj, photo, etc etc than some people pay for JUST the hall. The second reason is that it's much less stress on having to choose vendors. Before we booked I asked which vendors we would have to choose from and I was happy with the choices. It was just the right fit for us, especially since we're paying for everything ourselves. If you want more info, feel free to FM me.
