I did the Adventura Spa Palace and really enjoyed it. The Royal Hideaway is suppose to be amazing but $$$. I also hear good things about the Iberostars. I personally like that chain but only been to the ones in DR.

We stayed at the Paradisus in the Riviera Maya and loved it. I def want to go back. There are families allowed there, so I dont know if this would be what you are looking for, but I truly loved it!!!!!
