What is the nicest closest hotel to Russo's on the Bay???????????? I am thinking by JFK is the closest and easiest for my out of town guests. We have a small handful and I want to make sure they have a nice place to stay.

i NEVER stayed at a hotel near JFK so not 100% sure which would be the best hotel...Maybe doubletree or the marriott.
it may be a pain but i would definitely go see the hotel before you plan anything - there are some scary hotels by the airport!!

OR one thing you can do, thats if your guests wont mind, is maybe a hotel around long beach bc howard beach is VERY close to long beach, or some area nearby...alot of hotels are not close to the RH...for CLM they recommend holiday inn express but its about 20-30 mins away

call Russo's and ask them where they recommend ...maybe they have something worked out for a hotel near by with a discount

I spoke to Kelly yesterday at Russo's. They reccomend two hotels. The Hilton Garden Inn and a Sheraton that will not open till this summer!! Hope the info helps!

How about the hotels by LGA airport, I think they may be a little nicer that the JFK airports, but its a little farther out from Russos

YEAH THE ones by LGA are better, theres one area with a few hotels that is not bad and its about a 15-20 min drive from russo's

I am very unsure about around JFK........................... I was thinking about one of the hotels near LGA they look a little nicer. I definatley plan on going to the hotels and taking a peak just to make sure.

Yeah there is a strip of hotels by LGA that are really nice with nice views. My friends stay there when they visit here. There is the Marriott, the Wyngate(?) Clarion etc etc, dont remember others but less scary than the JFK ones

You're welcome...Theres also a brand new one that just opened up on Astoria boulevard, i think its just about ready to open up...ill see what i can find out and the thing about this hotel that is different than the other hotels is that its not next to all the airport hotels, its actually in astoria and doesnt feel like an airport hotel
