All this talk about hair - could use some opinions...

Sorry so long and for all the pics LOL

So I am going for my first hair trial on Jan 15. My plan was to wear a hair flower and a veil and then for the reception to just have the flower in my hair. I actually thought the flower was going to be smaller than it was but it's a lot bigger in person (not bad but a think a little too big to wear both together).

I also started to think that I might want to do a headband instead since it's easier to make it work with the veil and once the veil comes off I still have something in my hair. I could always wear the flower for my TTD shoot after the wedding.

So let me get your opinions on this....

Thanks for the help girls! I am going to give the flower a try in the first hair trial and see how it looks and then if I don't like it I want an option to fall back on.

I like the first and second headbands...

I plan on doing what you are thinking of doing. Headband or clip with veil for ceremony and flower for reception.

I was thinking half up/half down sorta like this (obviously this was the inspiration pic if I am doing a flower):

Hmm I think it might be too much with the veil and the flower, especially if it's big. I'm trying to picture the veil and the headband but it just doesn't look right in my head. Would you consider doing the veil for the ceremony and sticking the headband in after pics?

ETA: This is the only picture I could find with both and it just looks like they are competing with each other to me. Especially since your dress has a lot going on already. JMO!

But I'm afraid it's not going to stay in my hair properly if I don't have a 'professional' do it and secure it properly. The headband might be eaiser to slip on after.

I don't know - this is the bane of my existence at the moment since I finally made a hair trial appt. and I need to make some kind of decision. I've been putting off thinking about this for a while LOL

I'd do the headband, less hassle! Besides, like you said you can use your flower for TTD.

this is tough! that flower is beautiful, but i think i agree that it would be a little much with the veil. i really like the 1st headband option - it would look great with your DOJ! and i don't think a headband will really compete with the veil - i'm doing both and then taking the veil off after the ceremony

Thanks - I think I like that one a little more than the second as well. Well maybe I'll order it and maybe do the trial with both (if the lady lets me).
