Has anyone seen the ballroom here? I keep searching for pics but all I can find are the artist renderings, which look good but aren't a substitute for the real thing
I believe they just had their first wedding there over Labor Day weekend, so might be a bit early to see any pictures ... but we've been hearing horror stories, especially from KittyGags who was set to get married there the first weekend of September ... apparently they were MONTHS behind schedule and had booked events throughout the summer that had to be relocated or canceled. To me, blech ... the management would make it not worth looking at, but that's just me.
Hi! I've seen the ballroom - it's very nice - my only complaint is that it is not ocean view. The hotel is open now and management is a complete pain. They cancelled 16+ weddings this spring/summer due to being behind schedule. We have rooms booked there for the night of our wedding (which we are having elsewhere in Atlantic Beach) and they have been tough to deal with. They do not offer any discounts for guests (rooms are $239/night and the suits are $700)! The hotel is gorgeous though and the lounge/bar area is sweet!
