Tell me about it. I was really, really bummed by this. Me and my FH went to see Duet and were quoted half of that. Problem is that FH didn't like their people skill too much. Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...I'm really beginning to hate this now.

thats how I felt when I went to see a photog. and they quoted us 13,000 and told me to tell my dad money doesn't matter when you love your photographer needless to say we didn't book with them

FH and I went to a photographer once that quoted us for almost double all other quotes. FH responded by laughing out loud and saying, 'That's absurd, you're kidding me right!'
The guys just sat there in silence. Hahaha!
