I met with a 'photog-to-the-stars' and I was quoted between 5-8k. I think the photographer she met with is totally delusional! I'm curious to know who it is...

WOW! that's like almost half of my WHOLE budget!!!

So the vendor is recommended by Russo's. Their work is beautiful, but .
FM if you want more info. FH loved them too!!!
I, instead was hyperventilating when I walked out. We're DEFINITELY going to shop around more.

I think they are seeing stars as opposed to working w/ stars.

I went to one of those and I was not at all impressed with their photo's!!!

If you don't like either of the 2 you visit tomorrow, 12th night has gotten some good reviews and are supposedly reasonable( altho that word means alot of different things) .

A while ago Angelica Glass got raves. I think she is on the high side.

We checked 7 places and had issues that some would not give a dvd of the proofs at all, Patken made you wait about 6 mos or a year to get them, others made you buy them on top of everything else and others made you pay extra to touch up the pics - - like for glare on eyeglasses. yeech, they charge so much to begin with and then pile on top more fees.

we finally decided to use Sil~ver Fox. their name is blocked these days, I'm not sure why and there have been good and not so good comments about them.

John the owner and Ted did our wedding and we had no problems with them. Guests commented on how hard they worked, taking pics non stop.
Prices were lower than alot of places and you could defer ordering and album, but he froze the prices from when you signed the contract. I liked that he has an in-house graphic artist to do the album so you could actually speak to the person face to face. I think he is trying to hold his prices down but this info is from back in 2007. there are pics in my album and I did a slideshow in my video lib if you want to see their work.

good luck searching. I'd say enjoy but having been to 7 myself I know photog hunting is not fun.
