So it is way to early for me to price out honeymoons for 2013 so I was just curious and put in 10 days for July 2012 in Fiji the price popped up as . . .READY FOR THIS $33,000!!!!!
haha I guess Fiji is out . . I am starting to get a little nervous FH said I can plan everything except the honeymoon and his choice 2 weeks in Hawaii visiting two different islands we are marrying in July but are not taking our HM until December my company shuts down for 2 weeks paid so I wouldnt have to use any vacay days I am starting to get nervous about those prices

LOL!!! That's like the cost of a wedding right there!! I thought I was the only one looking for honeymoon stuff- FH and I went to a travel agent looking for prices. We were quoted 8k for a week in Turks and Caicos, which is crazy to me! I think we are going to create a honeymoon registry to pay for this nonsense.

That is beyond ridiculous.. wow!! HM are crazy expensive. FH and I also want to do 10 days in Hawaii, 2 dif islands and I know that isnt going to be cheap either.
After researching and seeing how expensive all the places I wanted to go to are we decided to do a caribbean or something in that price range and save the Hawaii or Turks and Caicos for our first anniversary, this will allow us to recoup from the wedding...and it will allow for a better trip cause we wont be worrying about the budget as much

OMG that's crazy!!! My Sister-in-law did Hawaii and she was just talking to me about it today. I'm thinking of also doing two islands... talk to a few Travel Agents.

Agreed! We are just going to do something tropical and hopefully affordable and then go to Europe maybe the next year.

Yea it crazy there but I'm going to Bora, Bora but it's alot of money but we r trying to book it ourselves and it didn't come that price at all but try to look into Bora, Bora it's better!! And it's not to early at all we r booking it within a year out the only thing u can't book in the flight

I was thinking of doing the same thing. I really want to go to Turks and Caicos butafter paying for the wedding it will definitely be out of our budget. So we will probably go to a Caribbean island and do Turks and Caicos for our one year anniversary. But I also want to have a baby right after we get married (lol) so I don't know but we'll figure it out. We still have time.

My honeymoon is originally 30K But because of the discount I got it for 9K
I would never have been able to do what I am doing if sandals didn't have discounts lol

wow i never thought fiji would be that expensive...i've always wanted to do tahiti and thats virtually the same part of the world, and i think i'm budgeting 12-15K...i guess i should be glad that when i studied abroad in australia, i took an extended weekend 'trip' to fiji...haha

there is a resort being built in bermuda called 9 beaches. it will be open by 2013 and it is goingto feature over the water huts just like they have inbora bora... but the flight is aloooot shorter and imsure the price is def better then 33,000 lol
