almost ready to book my hall

first of all thanks to everyone who helped me with my hall debate!

i just wanted to let everyone know that fh's cousin is 99% sure she is booking the carltun which means im 99% sure im booking the woodlands. im totally happy about it! i really did love both places equally...this just gave me a push to one direction!

and im totally fine with her picking the carltun cuz she will be 34 and did get engaged first...besides she isn't having a sat night and she couldnt get her ideal date. AND the woodlands will be a new and exciting experience for me...my work party is at the carltun every yr...

not yet, but look it up on the bride's review board. It was actually written up in the new york times last summer....just superb...i really loved their entrees. Plus you can go back there for your anniversaries...I can't wait for her wedding next year

Congrats! You will be so happy with The Woodlands, I'm still getting compliments about our wedding and it's almost 6 months now!

Congrats! You will be SO happy with your decision. Our wedding was over a year ago and we are still getting compliments! My husband and I actually just ate at the Mansion at Woodlands on Friday night ...the food was great! (How cute is my husband...he made reservations for our 1 year anniversary!!) We were super-excited when Maureen brought us down to her office and we saw a big picture from our wedding hanging above her desk!!

so we couldnt go friday to talk to the bm because fmil needs to see the place and wants to taste the food before we book. and since we didnt go to book we decided to keep looking and now i think i found a new favorite place so now im holding off to book until i taste the food at the new place!!!!!

i guess im looking as fmil not being able to make it good because i found another place i love...so now im back to picking between two places

now i need to wait until next wed for my tasting and have my fmil come along so she can offer her suggestions and then ill make my decision...SOOOO hopefully ill know by the end of next week!!!!

i just want to book a place already!!!!!

wow that must be such a relief. Congrats!!! I am still trying to figure out what hall. Possibly Lands end but, my mom wants me to look at other places.

its between the woodlands and oheka....we had the food at the woodlands and now we're just waiting for the other tasting which is this wed!

my parents like both and dont care what i decide so now we just have to see what the fmil says. if the food at oheka is good we might end up booking it there...if we're not impressed then it will be the woodlands.

i just want to book a place already!!!!
