so FH and I have been arguing about having pieces on the alter for the ceremony. Now his church is very ornanate and I think it is a waste of money that could be spent else where. I already have a devotion bo-k for the saint and tool on the pew. I dont want to spend over a hundred dollars for flowers Im not even gonna pay attention to that just get left there...any suggestions?

well they dont get left there actually, the limo driver brings those 2 arrangements to your RH and displays it there, i did this and most florists will tell you to do this.
Its up to you really, alot of ppl on here i saw didnt do it and it was fine. Just look at your church altar and if you are fine with it as is then should be fine.

We weren't going to get them but my mom wanted them. We are doing one on eachside of the alter and pew bows.
