I recently looked at dresses at Flowerama in elmont and found a great dress (I didn't get it yet)! They said that the alterations are a flat fee of $150 and that includes everything. However, to bussle (spelling?) the back of the dress is an extra $100. I could spend $15 and have it wrap around my wrist, but I dont want to do that. Do those prices sound like average? Thanks

I don't know about the bussel.. but my cap on alterations (flat fee) is $175
ETA: I have a detachable train so there's no bussel needed.

My alterations were capped at $150 not a flat fee. If they were less than $150, I would have paid the lesser price. My bussle was $10 each so it was $90 for mine. Do you need alot of work done to the dress? If not, then I would not agree to a flat fee for alterations.
