okay, so do you have to get alterations where u ordered your dress? My step-mom is really good friends with a execlent seamstress, and I could get it done MUCH cheaper. It doesn't say I HAVE to on my receipt, but it lists the prices. And when I got the call they said we will start the fittings in March.

No, you don't have to have them done where you bought your dress. If I knew a good seamstress I would probably go to one! My BM and I are both leaving our dresses in the store until the last possible moment so nothing will happen to it tho. We are both paying for in-house alterations. For my BM, they can go elsewhere. It's all up to you! You can save a lot and know you are getting good work-I'd do it!
