alterations??

any nice suggestions for suffolk county?? I need my dress altered and I called Davids Bridal (where i got the dress) and the seamstress barely spoke english I am afraid she wont get what I want.
Has anyone had alterations done there??

im sure people have had good experiences but my friend ordered her dress from there and she says they 'butchered it' i didnt see it but thats what her and her mom say...she had to buy off the rack 4 days before her wedding...

My friend got her atlerations at helens bridal in commack and they came out great.

Fernando's Tailor Shop on Montauk Hway in Oakdale does a good job.

I'm almost positive that Fantasia Bridal in Rocky Point will do alterations on an outside order. Give them a call...the seamstresses are renound!

we tried t oget alterations there for my friends wedding but they were just rude people. We did not like the experience there at all so we took the dresses elsewhere. this was the one in the source. they are not very people-friendly at all.

I think David's Bridal is just not the best place for some people. I know a lot of people who have had good experiences there, but I did not and I wouldn't get my alterations done there.

For my sister's wedding, I had my BM 's dress altered at a bridal store on route 110 in Huntington. I can't remember the name of the place (but I can find out if u want) and they did a great job.
