alterations

May be a bit early but where are you all getting your dress alterations done? I got my dress at the Dimitrios salon in Macys and there's no cap on alterations so I'm thinking i want to do my alterations else where! Any suggestions ladies??

Rosies tailoring is pretty good!! and I usually see coupons for her on here!!! I have been going to her since i was young to have my clothes altered!! (thats what happens when your short like me!! :( lol) she is a bit pricy, but not too bad, its worth a look!! :)

I've also heard good things about Alterations By Gina- she is in deer park!! :)


I also know that Fantasia Bridal in Rocky Point will alter your dress even if you didn't buy it there!! I hear really awesome things about them!!!
If it were me, I would probably try Fantasia Bridal first since they do specialize in wedding dresses!!!

I have someone I go to by my house in Brooklyn. She's amazing. My cousin gained weight before my brothers wedding and she took her dress out in two hours. Then last summer my dress for my beat friends wedding came in the wrong size and she had to basically recreate mine using some extra fabric from the other girls who went there to get there's done. One girls was way too big. That place totally screwed up the ordering.
