I'm undecided where I should alter my dress, NYC vs. Long Island(Carle Place) any past experiences and opinions would be greatly appreciated.
I bought it in Long Island but its more convenient for me to alter it in the city, I just didn't hear great things about the city

I thought my alternations for a BM were horrible and the staff were rude at the Massapequa store. Can't speack for their other locations.
I was in a wedding this past September - we purchased the bridesmaid dresses from Bridal Reflections in Carle Place. But, because that is inconvenient for me - I altered my dress elsewhere and it worked out just fine. So, if BR is not convenient for you and you have a good hemstress somewhere else - just do it....nothing to question!
I had my girls by their dresses in Carle Place, but have a seamstress that I'll send them to that's WAY more reasonable and does an AMAZING job! Would rather give her the $$ than BR! :)
where is your seamstress located.. can you fm me her info?
