For those ladies that had alterations done at RK Bridal...what and how much did you end up paying for them? They say alterations cap at $350 but what does that include? I know i definitely want cups sewn in, need to shorten the hem and of course the bustle. Can you guys let me know what you ended up paying? My first fitting is in May and i want to be prepared and ready before i go. I don't want to get suckered into anything!

Re: Alterations at RK Bridal
I am going tonight for my 1st fitting.
My mom went over the weekend for her 1st fitting and they give you the option to pay for the fitting on your 2nd fitting. Just to let you know - my mom had to have her hem shorten and tighten the top of her dress - that cost 100$.
edited: Ill post tonight how much they will charge for my alterations. I need to have cups sewn in and the dress taken in from the sides and hemed.

Re: Alterations at RK Bridal
This was helpful because I was wondering this too. All I need to have done is have cups sewn in and maybe have an inch taken in at the sides. They want to shorten it but I really don't think it needs it because my shoes are almost a 4 inch heel. I wondered what the cap meant-I dont think my alterations are worth $350.

Re: Alterations at RK Bridal : Update
Hi, Last night I had my alterations at RK Bridal. The experience was good. I had the hem shorten, cups put in, sides taken in, and a 3 point bustle and the grand total for the alterations was $365 - to be paid cash on the second alteration.

I paid $20 above the cap to have cups sewn in.
I just needed a hem, the sides taken in, and a bustle otherwise.
