Alterations in Nassau?

I ordered my dress from out of state and it came yesterday!!!

Now, I need to find a seamstress whose experienced in wedding dresses. And I'd like the place to be roomy so that I can move around and see how the dress feels- ya know like a bridal salon.

Do you think the salon where I get the BM dresses from would alter my dress?, that would be perfect- anyone every done this?

I found out about this woman from McSullivan. She did an incredible job on her gown. Read her review for more details.

After reading McSullivan's review I FM'd her because I needed a seemstress for my gown for TWOTY.

I HIGHLY recommend her. She is AMAZING!

She has a little space in a shop called the Pear Tree Shop.

There is a lady named Helen who lives in Bethpage and does all the alterations for Estelle's and many other dress shops. I don't know her phone number but if you call Estelle's they can give it to you. I actually know her son and she done a lot of my friends BM's dresses and it excellent. Hope this helps.
