I went to a bridal store to purchase my dress and we asked for the best price, as I had found it very cheap on the internet, but was skeptical to buy it online. After the price was reduced and I got measured, things got a little hetic and I signed the invoice and put down a deposit. When I got home I noticed that the price for alterations were capped at $200 but there was a separate price for a bustle listed at $125. Is this how much alterations cost because I kind of feel like they took the price off the dress and then moved it to the alterations. Any thoughts?

Re: Alterations... Is this right?
my alterations are capped at $300, and from what I've read bustles usually go for around $100.....capped doesnt mean thats what they'll charge, but if the dress needs lots of altering like if you lose or gain a lot of weight then the MOST they can charge is the capped price.
I think you got pretty good alteration charges!
