hey ladies!

i need your help!!
i am officially in love with a gorgeous Marisa gown that i saw at RK..and i'm still struggling w/ the $2k price tag. (i know that might seem average for some)..so i was wondering if anyone has purchased from RK and had alterations done somewhere else for a lower price? i had a few concerns about RK alterations:

(a) $360 cap, not incl. sewing cups, etc.
(b) i want to do a final fitting as close to the wedding as possible..it's a very fitted gown..and that last thing i'd want is it being floppy around my figure..does that make sense?

any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I believe Phyliss at gownfind can order Marisa dresses...and everyone raves about her alterations

I went with RK bridal and had quite alot of work done and was still way under the cap...I had cups sewn in and had the dress taken in twice with a complicated ten point french bustle.

Just means that's the most they can charge for alterations.

ooh! didn't think of phyllis @ gownfind. thanks for the reminder! :)

hopefully the alterations won't go over that cap if i do it at RK..unless i get the alterations done w/ phyllis.

i want the gown as fitted as possible!
