mine came out to $400+tx I think thats a little over priced. but thats just MHO
now for the vent:
i went CRAZY trying to find a strapless, long line bra, with push-ups in my size...
I get to my appt.
WRONG BRA!
mine was too soft.. so I had to spend more $$ on a bra from them... and it doesn't have the push ups... so I can spend more $$ on adding padding, or just have saggy boobs the day of.

I went to a dry cleaner tailor. I am paying $75 for changing the back to a corset, my bustle and tightening the straps.

My alterations were close to $300, if there was a seamstress I could trust, I would have taken it there. DB was a fukcin nightmare!

my alterations were outrageously expensive. but IMO you can't put a price on them when they make you look AMAZING for your wedding day.

HONESTLY.. I was taken back by my alterations.. They were rediculous.. and honestly cost more then my own dress!!!! Im having a lot done but they charged 495 just for the bustle.. and Im changing the top of the dress and adding buttons down the back which is 375.00.. They also made me by their bra which was 165.00 .. I just pray for that money the dress come out amazing!!!!

I took my dress to a seamstress. I think the total is between 200 -250. That includes the bustle, cups sewn in and taking it in through the bodice.
Had my first fitiing Sat and it had already been taken in 5 inches and she now needs to take it in another 2-3.

I def feel your pain date twin after about an hour of begging i talked the bridal salon alterations dept. Down to $325 and from what i hear thats good. Also a bought about 5 long line bras before i found the best one , its called Flattering me longline bridal bustier. It comes with adjustible padding for more or less push up. It retails for about $75 bucks but if you check out a site called bonanzle.com i bought mine for 40 bucks;) hth!

mine came to about $400 (which included the bustle)
it really is ridiculous but sadly, there's not much to do.
ps: i had the same issue about buying a long line bra and then having it not work.
